Every year, Just in Time mobilizes a passionate extended family of individuals, agencies, businesses, and foundations that share our core values and mission: to provide caring relationships and emergency resources for transitioning foster youth (18-26) on the path to productive, healthy lives.
With little or no family support, these young adults are at risk of being homeless, unemployed, and under-educated, and too often can be on the path to lifelong dependence or prison. Just in Time provides much-needed volunteer-driven programs and gap services to help motivated youth stay off the streets and on their path to self-sufficient adulthood.
We believe this consistent, long-term help from the heart is the foundation for the success of our courageous youth who have been part of our family for almost ten years.
During Foster Care Month and beyond, make your commitment to transform the appalling national statistics for transitioning foster youth.
